That depends on the number of cameras, the resolution, the frame rate and the disk capacity. Tell us how many days you need and we size the disk accordingly and show the calculation in the quote. Most installations target 15-30 days.

Yes. During installation we set the mobile app up on your phone, create your account and show you how to use it. Separate user accounts can also be created for family members or staff.

For new installations and points that need high resolution we recommend IP. If the building already has sound coaxial cabling, raising resolution with AHD without replacing cables is far more economical. We measure the existing infrastructure during the survey and tell you which is right for you.

Yes, if a UPS is installed. The important point is to power not only the recorder but also the switch feeding the cameras and the modem; otherwise the recorder stays on while the cameras go dark.

The sounder activates, an instant notification is sent to your phone and, if you wish, your chosen contacts are alerted in order. Where the alarm is integrated with CCTV, the footage from that moment is brought up automatically so you can tell a false alarm from a real event.

With quality equipment, yes. Modern wireless panels use encrypted communication, detect signal loss and warn you when a battery runs low. We measure signal range before installation and add a repeater if needed.

Depending on the type, size and use of the building, a fire detection system may be a legal requirement. We advise you on the scope required for your building during the survey and design accordingly.

A conventional system tells you which zone raised the alarm; an addressable system tells you exactly which detector did. In large, multi-section buildings this significantly shortens response time.

Viewing distance decides it. As a rough rule, the minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres is close to the pixel pitch in millimetres: P6-P10 suits a street-side screen, P2-P3 a shop-window display. We measure the distance during the survey.

Yes. We install the content management software on your computer and phone and show you how to upload a campaign image and schedule playback. You do not need to call us to change text or graphics.

We do. We provide brand-independent service: we inspect your existing installation and report clearly on what works, what does not and what should be renewed.

In a flat or small business, installation is usually completed within a day. For multi-camera estates, factories and fire detection projects the duration depends on scope; we give you a clear schedule after the survey.

Camera footage is personal data and responsibility rests with the system owner. When planning the installation we exclude areas that must not be monitored, agree where notice signs go and advise you on retention periods.

It is not mandatory, but we recommend one. A neglected system fails quietly: disks fill up, lenses get dirty, detectors gather dust. With an annual contract we track those checks for you.
